Growing up in safe and sheltered Singapore where everything runs like clockwork, even the slightest bit of haphazardness and spontaneity when exploring foreign lands might seem strangely attractive and romantic.

Roughly translating to mean “a sense of place” in French, Terroir was a bespoke bi-annual magazine that sought to collaborate and showcase Singaporean perspectives on travel — to share with you what various places meant to their Singaporean authors.

All three issues were printed on-demand with an inkjet printer using water-resistant pigment ink on newsprint paper stock. Various inserts and gatefolds were introduced on the second and third issue.
